How to enable Model image display in editor
This article refers to Smart Customizer Web to Print App Version 2.0
Before we get started
- By default, product customization is split into two separate windows: one for editing and creating the design on the artwork, and another for previewing the design on the product.
- For certain 2D product templates, you may want the model image, which is typically visible in the preview window, to also be displayed in the editor.
- When this feature is enabled, the print area is overlaid on the model image where you have set it up in the Print Area Settings. The print area will be outlined with dashed lines to help customers understand the design boundaries.
How to enable model Image in the editor
- If you already have your 2D product template, open it and in the Product details section, check the box labeled Show Model Image in Editor.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
That's it! Once you click the "Edit" button, the model image will be displayed in the editor.
