About Design history
- The design history feature allows your customers to review and edit, or repurchase their created designs.
- To save a design to their history, customers simply need to add a product with the design to their cart (or place an order in the Stand-Alone case) and the design will then appear in the My Recent Designs section.
- My Recent Designs section is visible for all customizable products:
- Purchased designs remain visible for 3 months
- Unpurchased designs are saved for 40 days
- Customers can delete designs from this section at any time
- The design history feature works based on the browser session, so it will not work if the customer uses an incognito window or blocks all browser cookies.
- This feature is especially helpful for customers who:
- Want to purchase the same design with minor adjustments
- Would like to order the same design with different product options, such as color variations
- Need extra time to finalize the design details before making a purchase
How to activate Design History feature
- Go to Preferences and select Activate saving of the user’s recent designs.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
